Zoey Wong

Zoey is a graduate from Glasgow School of Art, Singapore (Singapore Institute of Technology 2015). Formally trained in web and communication design, the creation of her work centers on the elements of impermanence and temporality. Zoey is heavily inspired by morbid and macabre topics such as death, mortality
and dreams. To add to the essence of temporality, she uses perishable materials to supplement her interest when working with illustrations and embroidery.
Recently, she has started experimenting with sculptures and photography, as it allows her to explore the different forms of capturing and preserving a moment, constructed or candid.
Zoey is currently an art educator working primarily with children while pursuing her postgraduate studies. She also holds illustration/embroidery workshops in collaboration with Fashion corporations for events.
